Our basketball season has come to a close and to say we had an incredible season is an understatement! We had our first season with 3 teams of cheerleaders and these young ladies were amazing! We had fun on the sidelines cheering on the ORYA basketball teams throughout the season and learned multiple skills throughout the season to continue to make our halftime routines incredible!

We are happy to announce that our competition team, the Oak Ridge Allstars, won first place in their division and received a bid to a World's cheer competition at their first competition! ORYA cheer program partnered with Cheer Extreme in Kernersville. If you were at ORMA on March 16 then you were able to see their routine and be a part of the sendoff ceremony for their first competition. ORYA cheer will have a half year competition team again in November 2024. 

We have exciting Spring skills clinics starting on April 3 at Oak Ridge United Methodist Church from 6-7pm. Each clinic will be focused on correct technique for the "skill of the week". The skills clinics are for all ages and all skill levels, so no matter if you are new to the sport or if you have been to a few competitions, we have a plan in place to make sure that these skill clinics will benefit all! We will have two more skills clinics in April so do not miss out on the fun! Registration is open now!

ORYA cheer summer camps are coming up quick so keep an eye open for registration! We had a blast last summer and look forward to seeing some familiar faces and meeting some new cheerleaders as well. At our summer camps your cheerleader will learn a chants, motions, jumps, and a short routine to perform for friends and family on the last day! In addition, we will have cheer related crafts and games to have fun and make new friends!
