SPRING BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL

FINAL FOOTBALL EQUIPMENT RETURN OF THE YEAR!!!
January 29th, 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Oak Ridge Elementary School football trailer. If you are unable to make it at that time, please contact Scott Phelps at, PHELPS@ORYA.ORG to make additional arrangements.


LACROSSE REGISTRATION
The first 2012 Lacrosse Registration will be this Saturday at ORES from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.


LACROSSE POSITION CAMP
One day - Two Sessions
Attend one or both sessions

Old North State Lacroose will be conducting a Position Camp on January 28, 2012 at Oak Ridge Elementary School.  There will be two sessions, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM.  Campers will receive individual and small group instruction by position.  The positions are attack, midfield, defense and goalie

BASKETBALL SCHEDULES!

We have gotten the basketball schedules together for both the boys and the girls.  Please click on the links below to see the schedule.

SCHEDULE

Basketball's first game will be on December 3rd at Bonner Gym.  Times and schedules to be announced.  Picture day for both Cheer and Basketball will be December 17th at ORES prior to the players scheduled games.

We will not practice during Christmas and New Years break (December 19 - December 30).  No games on December 24th, December 25th, December 31st or January 1st.


CONCESSION  STAND DUTIES

All home teams for each game are responsible for manning the concession stand immediately following their game.  This will spread the duties throughout the league and allow us to run the concession stand at full strength.


KING AND BONNER GYM DUTIES

All teams using these gyms are responsible for keeping them clean and free of damage.  No exceptions.  We have promised to keep the gyms cleaner than we found them.  Don't let us down!


VOLUNTEER OFFICIALS NEEDED

If you are interested in helping the ORYA referee games, please contact David Maxon via email at david@orya.org.  We will be responsible for officiating the age groups of 5-6 and 7-8.  We will hold a small clinic to go over our rules and expectations.  Date TBD.

Be sure to stop by the Wendy's in the Oak RIdge Commons on Wednesday, November 30th, between 4PM to 7PM and mention that you are with the ORYA and a percent of your order will be donated back to ORYA!

Monthly Fundraiser
The second Wednesday of every month is now a fundraiser for the ORYA at the Cold Stone at 1626 Highwoods Blvd, Greensboro. All you have to do is mention that you are with the ORYA and 75% of the proceeds will go to the ORYA.-

Pop Warner Super Bowl - Oak Ridge Colts Updates

Jr. Pee Wee Cheerleaders Place 8th in Nation at Pop Warner Cheer & Dance Competition in Orlando, FL
The Oak Ridge Colts Jr. Pee Wee squad made an awesome appearance and performed Monday morning at the Pop Warner National Cheer & Dance Competition in Orlando, FL. There were 18 squads in the Jr. Pee Wee small novice division and the Colts placed 8th out of 18! These girls also finished in front of the Apex Cougars who was the team that beat them at the Regional level less than 2 weeks ago! Way to go Jr. Pee Wee girls – we are so proud of you!
