Camps We Endorse

2008 ORYA Recommended Camps for Basketball, Baseball, Cheerleading, Football, Soccer and Softball

All of the camps listed below have been reviewed by the designated ORYA Sport Directors and are recommended by the ORYA for our participants. Please click on the link for any of the camps you are interested to download the

• 2008 Oak Ridge Colts Football Camp – July 21-25 6:20pm -8:30 pm.

• NORTHWEST HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER BASEBALL CAMP
  NWHS Summer Baseball Camp is being held 6/16-6/20 and 7/7-7/11 from 8:30am until 12:30pm.
  The cost for each camp is $105.

• UNCG Softball Camp

  This is a 3-day camp for ages 8-18 held at UNCG June 16-18th . The morning session is for pitchers and catchers. The afternoon session is hitting skills. Players doing both camps get lunch with the coaches. Cost is $150 per camp.
• Nike Sports Camps / Softball Camp at Greensboro College

  This is a 4-day (sleep over option) camp for ages 10-18 held at Greensboro College and sponsored by Nike. Camp dates are June 16-19. Nike camps are held throughout the country each summer; only 2 are in NC. All softball skills are covered. Cost is $285 for commuters and $385 for overnight.
  
  
• NC State Softball Camps

  This all-skills camp is held at NC State in Raleigh June 16-19 for ages 10-18. Girls 12-18 can stay in the dorms in their overnight program. There is an "elite" camp for high school athletes. They also offer a beginners clinic from 9am -12noon on June 17-19 for ages 5-9. Costs vary - see the brochure.
  
  
• UNC Chapel Hill Softball Camps

  UNC offers several softball camps in Chapel Hill. Pitchers and Catchers camp is July 13-14 and costs $250 for overnight. The all-skills camp is July 21-24 for ages 10-18 and costs $420 including room and board. They also offer a beginners camp for ages 5-9 from 9am-12noon on July 22-24th for $120.
